My best advice to give to anyone making the dress would be to think of the dress in its most simple form

Color options you can go for are:Lilacs,Greens,Teal,Soft Rose,Violet,Turquoise,Champagne etc 6.Prints -Avoid animal prints like zebra,leopard etc.This is an elegant party not a jungle party!!Also avoid any other stark prints.You can however wear floral prints or polka dots.(remember point2,we are flaunting girly looks here)
