The term shiny became so ubiquitous that the developers themselves began to use it in the games, and now its the accepted official term for these rare Pokmon variants

Technically, near mint copies have sold for the same price recently, but supply is a real issue here

though the trade campaign cards were allowed in tcg decks while jumbo bird trio, phone cards, and stuff like ishihara were not RabidSquirtle June 21, 2025, 4:22pm 13 tval: Feels more like a trio than base set which has other holos I think this is just because the art from this was used on several products including base set packs, the base holos dont have that much of a relation to each other while these artworks were used on english gen 1 games, boxes, and packs
